.

The aim of the workshop is to present renovation skills, professional skills, craft occupations and manual skills as important competences for work, which bring job opportunities in the 21st century. century, and the presentation of a draft new curriculum and new approaches for more mainstreaming of cultural heritage in the primary school curriculum.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

At the first consultation workshop in Ljubljana in October 2022, together with the participating teachers, we identified current practices and opportunities in Slovenia and Norway for more integration of cultural heritage in primary education. We then carried out a detailed analysis of the content and lessons of the curricula, extracting those concepts, terms and themes that can be explained with the help of cultural heritage, paying particular attention to the possibilities of inter- and cross-curricular integration.

Based on the conclusions of the consultation workshop and the analysis carried out, a set of outlines for new or better adapted learning activities has been drafted, which can be used to link compulsory learning content with examples from cultural heritage.

We would like to present the results of the analyses and the outlines of the personalised learning preparation to you at the workshop.
